CLP CARGO Y ADUANA, your Pangea partner in Peru, has efficiently completed a complex Production Plant Mobilization Project entrusted to them by one of their most valued customers. They successfully led the project to mobilize an entire production plant from Chile to Peru, including the transport of nearly 90 containers and several BKB components. The entire project was completed in approximately four months.
Among the mobilized containers, CLP CARGO handled a mix of 40′ STD and 40′ HC units, along with special equipment such as Flat Racks and Open Top — both In Gauge (IG) and Out of Gauge (OOG). In terms of the BKB components, they successfully transported oversized and overweight machinery and equipment, ensuring the safe and timely relocation of critical assets.
In light of the global congestion challenges, particularly at the Port of Callao from late last year into early this year, CLP CARGO proposed the use of international land transportation as a strategic alternative.
Due to the nature of the cargo, it was essential to work with precision and foresight to ensure the viability of the transport and obtain the necessary transit permits in both the origin country (Chile) and the destination (Peru).
CLP CARGO also managed route studies, supervised lashing, loading, and unloading operations, and ensured complete traceability through detailed reporting at every stage of the project.
Additionally, CLP CARGO provided fully integrated logistics services — a true door-to-door solution — thanks to their dedicated teams. This included the coordination of Freight Forwarding, Customs Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, and Logistics Operations, all managed by CLP CARGO’s own personnel and resources.
